The Wield Glenn Miller Tribute Re-enactment Band

We are the Wield Glenn Miller Tribute Re-enactment Band. We are a voluntary band miming to Glenn Miller classics tunes in aid of the The Not Forgotten Association, a charity that provides entertainment, leisure and recreation for wounded, injured or sick service men and women and for ex-service men and women with disabilities.

The band raised £1000 for the Not Forgotten in 2016.

We are based in North-East Hampshire and are available for private and public functions. We’ll enliven any function and transport you back to the 1940’s era of swing and big band sounds.

North-East Hampshire

"We are a group of accomplished pipers and drummers dressed in 1940's battledress, playing regimental and wartime tunes. A tribute to the many tunes composed during wars and conflicts. Remembering the sacrifices that the thousands of pipers made, sometimes forgotten. As part of our sets, we also have some highland dancers.

Our past performances include Woodhall Spa 1940's weekend, Holt 1940's weekend, Crowle & Ealand 1940s, RAF Digby vintage day, RAF Scampton Airshow, RAF Boulmer families day, Bakewell Carnival and North Luffenham WO & Sgts Mess, All of our performances have proved a great success.

Our normall line up is;

5 pipers

2 drummers

2/3 dancers
